STEAP Stailor has established an HSE policy, which aims to take account of safety at all levels of the company on the basis of the MASE framework (Manuel d'Amélioration Sécurité des Entreprises – Corporate Safety Improvement Manual). This policy is formalised by means of various documents (HSE manual, HSE rules, recording documents, etc.). It takes account of apparatus, PPE, procedure, equipment and plant context aspects and also incorporates awareness raising, training and communication activities.

Specific attention is paid to each site. After guaranteeing compliance with legislation, the project team and the safety coordinator ensure implementation of the policy.

In order to confirm its desire to play a leading role in terms of HSE, STEAP Stailor has published a safety charter, which is designed to win the support of all those involved in the project. In addition to this mechanism, safety audits are carried out every year in an ongoing quest for continuous progress.
